Tenants have been fighting for safe, affordable and dignified housing for generations. Over the last century the fight has reached important heights but the struggle continues. Often tenant protections are only won through electoral campaigns, East Bay Tenant Union was created to provide ongoing infrastructure for campaigns that benefit tenants in the East Bay.
A Movement Larger than Ourselves
East Bay Tenant Union is run by tenant movement leaders from the East Bay. We support coalitions that include, Moms4housing, ACCE, SEIU 1021, Movement Legal, Berkeley Tenants Union, Oakland Tenants Union, Friends of Adeline, Democratic Socialists of the East Bay, EBASE, Rising Juntos and more.
